CNC
What is a CNC control?
A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) control is the control system of turning and milling machines, which is sent by a computer. CNC components are usually used in machining technology to accurately remove parts of plastic, wood and metal. CNC has ensured the development of new machining technologies, such as laser cutting and electrical discharge machining.
What are CNC controllers used for?
CNC controllers are used in the processing materials, among other things. For example, CNC control is used in laser cutting, welding, bending and punching. CNC control is especially suitable when a large number of complex products need to be produced.
CNC advantages
The use of CNCs has a number of advantages:
- working with CNC offers high accuracy and little down time;
- the use of CNC provides constant high quality;
- CNC offers flexible and versatile control of machine tools.
CNC repairs
UNIS Group has extensive experience in industrial electronics repairs, including the repair of CNC Control parts. It is for instance possible to have the control, interface cards, the power supply, the control panel and the feedback repaired. UNIS Group repairs at component level, which means we can repair all brands, types and series, such as Siemens, Fanuc and Heidenhain. After the repair, it is carefully tested (communication ports, safety circuits, parameter storage etc.) Repairs are covered by a warranty of up to 2 years.
