Electric Motor Repair Engineer

What the job involves
As an Electric Motor Repair Engineer you will be a valuable addition to our Electric Motor Repair Department! You will be working in a team to repair, overhaul and test a broad range of electric and servo motors. You will record the actions required for the repairs and carry out preventative maintenance on all types of electric and servo motors. Beside that you will adjust, measure and test the electronics that determine the axis position in servo motors.
What do we ask of you?
That you enjoy the challenges that will come with investigating electric malfunctions and defects using specialist (measuring) equipment. You will use your proactive attitude, curiosity and perseverance to find and rectify electric errors. That you will understand what is needed to repair electric motors and enjoy making use of our extensive testing facilities.
In addition, we are asking for the following:
- You have completed a secondary education or higher.
- You have additional work experience in a comparable position.
- Comprehensive knowledge and work experience in the field of servo motors is preferable.
- You have experience in assembling, overhauling and repairing electric motors.
- You have experience in using various items of equipment, tools, diagrams and data sheets.
- You are able to correctly interpret measurement and test data.
